What do people say about us?
“RMC is a valued partner of BSWA, we work effectively and proactively in the partnership supporting women who are vulnerable, subjected to domestic abuse, have NRPF and are in need of critical, emergency support.”
"I presented Mariia's story... and people were really touched... It highlights the wider welcome and solidarity you as a team provided and was struck also by the employment support and volunteering and how getting a job was the things she reflects this was the point she felt settled."
"It saved me from the loneliness of my early days and brought me back into the embrace of society. Everything we did was very enjoyable. I gained experience, got to know people from different backgrounds, and strengthened my confidence".
"My time volunteering at RMC has truly been a rewarding experience. What I enjoyed the most was the sense of respect and support that everyone here shows one another. People are always willing to lend a helping hand, creating such a positive atmosphere. The team's energy and warm, friendly attitude made every working day enjoyable. I always felt like a valuable part of something meaningful. My time at RMC has been a wonderful experience that has contributed to my personal growth in many ways".
" The thing I enjoyed most about volunteering was being able to meet individuals with different backgrounds and different experiences and be able to help them as they navigate their life. I also enjoyed the opportunity to learn about the refugee and immigration processes that many people go through and how challenging integrating can be for many ".
“RMC showed us we can continue our goals. It’s not easy to start again and settle in a new country but I found it easy because RMC supported me. As a result of their hard work, we are continuing with our goals. Masuma is an artist and has joined an art course and I am working and getting further qualifications in my career of Human Resources.”
This country made up of many communities is a better place for it. Walsall provides a warm welcome through its resettlement programmes – the Syrians, Afghans and now it will be the Ukrainians and has government backing. We need specialists like RMC to support this integration work.
"Your unwavering support and willingness to help me with everything mean more to me than words can convey.
Whether it's lending a listening ear, offering valuable advice, or simply being there when I need someone to rely on, you consistently go above and beyond."
“[RMC] Have been so supportive… There’s no matter how worried you are, they will always find a way out for you. Find an answer for you.
When I came to England with my family my children had no [access to] education, no clothing, no money. We didn’t know where to start. Now today I have the answers. My first daughter is gong to finish her GSCES tomorrow and I am grateful to wolves council and the community.
Today, we are happy. “
“The commitment from all RMC staff to deliver a high-quality service and in a compassionate way has been phenomenal. The communication approach established between both our teams at all levels has created a safe and supportive environment to raise issues, share feedback and work as one team to find solutions and strive to provide an excellent service”
