THE REFUGEE & MIGRANT CENTRE

BLACK COUNTRY & BIRMINGHAM

GSK IMPACT Award Winners 2019

Assisting refugees and migrants through crisis and disadvantage, by removing barriers to their integration and enabling them to become equal citizens.

Coronavirus update 25th march 2020: The Refugee and Migrant Centre service will be adjusted from Monday 23rd March 2020. We will be running our drop in via phone and online form and our staff are currently working from home. See below for message from RMC’s Senior Management.

A message from RMC’s Senior Management:

RMC’s experienced advisers & OISC regulated caseworkers remain operational and will be assisting via phone & online. As a regional charity with a wide remit, our main priority will remain the well-being and safety of our staff, volunteers and vulnerable clients.

For obvious reasons RMC have stopped drop in and face-to-face appointments, ceased outreach and group sessions until further notice. From the 26th of March almost all RMC staff will be working from home. Clients can reach us by telephone or by using an online contact form through RMC’s website.

We will prioritise urgent matters in the following areas: Immigration, Asylum support, Homelessness , Welfare benefits, Safeguarding and Destitution.

Warmest wishes and keep safe.

Arten (CEO) & Pam (Deputy CEO)

The Refugee and Migrant Centre (RMC) provides free casework, advice and guidance on immigration, housing/homelessness/destitution, welfare, education and health.
