Providing the foundations for integration
Being able to speak English gives people a voice. It gives confidence and it gives freedom.Â
It allows someone to ask for directions, ask for support or simply have confidence to buy something in the shops.
It also improves peoples employability and helps set them on the path to being independent and fully integrated into society.
