Stand Up for Refugees comedy night

RMC's first ever comedy fundraiser was a huge hit with star names and a packed house at Birmingham's Glee club

One the 3rd June 2025, over 100 people sold out the Glee Club in Birmingham for RMC’s first fundraising comedy night. It was a first for RMC, but definitely not the last.

The line up

The night was hosted by the wonderful Shreen Mahmood, with Shazia Mirza, Smash Bengali & Darren Harriott performing.

Shreen’s humanitarian background and warm, entertaining hosting provided the perfect setting for a night of laughs while raising funds that would go to supporting the community and building integration.

Our comedians delivered and had everyone laughing all night long on an unforgettable night.

We even had some of the RMC on hand to sell some brand new RMC merch and give away some prizes on the night!
