I am from Afghanistan, I worked as an interpreter with British forces in Afghanistan and withdrawl of the forces, I came as a refugee to the UK. When we came first we were very welcomed by the RMC staff. They are very kind, polite and helpful and we want to thank them for all their efforts, support and hard work

We provide people with full wrap-around support. From immigration advice to English classes, employment support to health information.
And we have been doing this for over 20 years.
We were leaders in the push for justice for the Windrush generation, and we are now leading in the support for Afghans in Wolverhampton and Walsall.
Over the recent months, we have added more staff, put in more hours, and supported every new arrival as they have come in. We are making sure everyone has what they need, including food packages on arrival, equipment for children to go to school, household items to get the family going and much more.
We have worked with local groups to source clothing, local authorities around housing and most importantly, with the families themselves to help settle them into their new homes and their new communities.
Your donations and your support allow us to keep doing this. To provide things we otherwise couldn’t and to ensure our staff teams are there to help those that need.

RMC Appeal: How your money will be used
All donations received will go towards supporting people through RMC. To ensure the best use of all donations, any additional funds raised past that required for the support of Afghan refugees will be used to help refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants in need. This could be providing a baby pack for a pregnant mother, providing emergency accommodation for a destitute family, ensuring someone’s immigration is secure so they can look for work, or one of the many other ways we help people each day.
