Practical donations

If you wish to donate items to support people via our appeal, our current needs mostly focus on preparing housing for new families and providing them with ways to learn and prepare for work. Gift cards are the most versatile way of giving, as it will provide items that are most needed at any time.

To ensure all donations are used effectively, we will be limiting donations to a small number of items and will update our need each week:

Wolverhampton

Tabernacle Baptist Church Wolverhampton

Dunstall Rd, Wolverhampton WV6 0NJ

Drop off Sunday 10th & 17th October between 1:30pm and 3:30pm

Walsall

Mayfield Community Centre

17-19 Wednesbury Road, Walsall, WS1 3RU 

Drop off Tuesday 5th & 12th October between 10:00am and 1:00pm

What is needed – October 2021

  • New kettles
  • New cutlery sets
  • Hygiene items
    • toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, showegel, nappies, baby wipes
  • Tablets (must be recently PAT tested or new)
  • Laptops (must be recently PAT tested or new)
  • Gift Cards – used for buying items as families arrive based around their needs.

Donations will be put towards supporting newly arrived families in Wolverhampton and Walsall. Those that have been settled in the area, as well as families held in temporary emergency accommodation in hotels, awaiting somewhere more permanent to live.
