Our offices may be closed, but our service is very much open. Teams of trained advisors are ready and waiting to answer calls, deal with online enquiries and offer support.
We’ve moved online
We have had a lot of fun testing out new ways of keeping in touch. Zoom video is now a favourite for team meetings and training sessions. Add Team chats and Whatsapp groups and we can run almost as normal 😀
We’ve managed to create a mini online portal to share offers of support, learning materials and well-being tips. Even our bring and share food events can’t be stopped and have adapted, with a new online recipe sharing space!
We’ve been busy!
In just the two weeks we have been closed, we have dealt with a lot of important cases; ensuring people are able to access Universal Credit, supporting vulnerable homeless clients into accommodation, working on pending immigration cases, tackling safeguarding issues and much more.
Alongside our casework services, we’re still managing to check in with all our Resettlement families and have remotely dealt with emergency repairs to houses, making sure children have access to remote learning and doing digital skills training to make sure families can access various services.
