The Refugee and Migrant Centre (RMC) is still offering health support during this time. There is also lots of other useful information for people at this time and support available.
The RMC health team can support with:
- Getting free medication/prescriptions
- Getting online advice from NHS 111 particularly for COVID-19 concerns
- Entitlement to Free School Meals
- Registering with a doctor/GP,
- Emergency dental treatment,
- Referring to mental health services,
- Emergency need for food parcels,
- Emergency need for nappies, baby wipes, milk powder and baby equipment
- Locating and accessing your local walk-in centre
- Ensuring interpreters are present at your GP and hospital appointments
- Accessing evidence from GPs to support your EU settlement
- Support with resolving hospital/medicine charges
