On 18 June 2025, Refugee Week was marked across RMC’s offices in Birmingham, Wolverhampton, and Walsall. The events were open to clients, staff, partners, and members of the public.

On Friday, 21 March 2025, the Refugee and Migrant Centre (RMC) brought the community
to life with an Iftar and Networking Evening where colleagues, partners, and community members came together to share a meal, build meaningful connections, and celebrate the essence of Ramadan through togetherness and care.
Remembering Ukraine: Three Years of Continued Resilience

On the 22nd February, the Refugee and Migrant Centre (RMC) and its partners brought people together at the Old Library in Digbeth to mark three years since the war in Ukraine began. RMC is the main Local Authority commissioned service delivering the Homes for Ukraine Scheme in Birmingham.
Creativity Through Resilience

25 years of RMC

In December 2024, RMC marked its 25th year with a celebration event. Since 1999, the organisation has been supporting new arrivals and has grown from a small team of volunteers, to what it is today.
Mayoral visits in Walsall

In September 2024, we were delighted to be invited to the Mayors parlour in Walsall following years of working in the community.
Peace Vigil for Ukraine

On Thursday 10th March at 6pm, the Refugee and Migrant Centre hosted a peace vigil in St. Peter’s Square, Wolverhampton, outside the Civic Centre.
Syrian families explore history of RAF servicemen and women

Our Syrian Resettlement team continued their integration and learning about British history and culture with a visit to RAF Cosford’s Museum this half term.
